About meI like to read, especially when I can add the books on to LibraryThing, and I like to write - comments, book discussions, and profile editing are some of my favorite forms.
My favorite sports are ping-pong, ultimate Frisbee (as can be seen from the picture above), and basketball.
Another one of my favorite things to do is play Zombie Tree Tag with my family. The "zombie" part of it means that whoever gets caught becomes a "zombie" along with whoever caught them; then they are both "it". The "tree" part means that trees can be base. (In our version you can only be safe on three trees, one time each.) The game ends when only one person is left.

hey sam i picked up a copy of holes at the scroll and read it today! i enjoyed it it was a very well written book!
it had a lot of play on words! i also rea "banner in the sky" its another neberry and i think i liked it better than holes. its about a boy in the alps who really wants to clim a unclimbed mountian. thats all im gonna tell u about it u really need to read it!!
hey sam sorry I replied so late I have not been on library thing in a very long time. I am responding to a question you sent me on library thing and yes I would highly recommend the Artimis Fowl siries to you.
hey sam u know how we were saying that that lady made no sense about how rick perry has been in office to long at the tea party? well i talked to pop about it and he said that is a valid point because alot of times when someone is in politics for a while it gets to be more of a job than a passion and he cares less about the people than maybe a fresh person would. but he did say that he is not accusing mr perry of that, he thinks he is a great govoner, just that it does happen alot of times.
dont u think nathan and rachel did great!!! i sure do!!
yep sam until i started wakeboarding tubing was my ultimate favorite. we have a flat tube and when ur going real fast it can only hold two of us but when we go slow we have ALL gotten on it! when me and levi tube and go real fast we try to hold each other on too although it usally ends up in us both falling off!
ive been reading some more louis L'amour books and i just finished my one of my favorite ones yet "Sitka" im fixin to add it after i write this. well see ya at church!

hey sam im really missing u at church! you missed the blairs today! im reading a book called "The Golden Fleece and other stories before akhilles time" its about old greece and u know whats so cool, everything ties in with the iliad, the odyssy and the aenied, (the first books i did in worldview)! i mean totally, it like talks about someone and i reconize the name but not the story and then it says that that person got married and had a son and the son will be one ot the main characters in the iliad, and i reconized the name because those books always listed the characters parents!! u might just have to read em all to know what im talking about but man, its really cool!

Yesterday i went wakeboarding for the second time and had an awsome time!! i started out with 6" jumps and then i saw a guy do a really big jump and just let go of the rope so he didnt have to worry about landing and i thought id try it, i did and went about 3- 4 ft high and almost across the entire wake! and guess what, i forgot to let go of the rope and i landed it!!!!!!! i did about 20 more big jumps and only crashed on two of them!! by the end of the day i was doing a big jump on one side of the wake, and then since i was going so fast i just did a small jump off the other side of the wake!! it was awesome!
ttyl,

Are you getting on LibraryThing?
hey sam i just finished Dr Jekell and Mr. Hyde it was pretty good. i can't say i enjoyed it but it had some serious worldview in it which made it fun to evaluate. i'm starting Frankinstien now and then i'm going to read The Deadliest Monster. David changed his name to blackliontriathlete didn't he!! i put some more books in my favorites, i now have 23 favorite books. i've been playing around with librarything some and there really is a lot u can do with it! how did the all night thing go at the babers? did yall ever shoot any fireworks? nathan said he had a bunch left over!! we i guess i'll see u at church, so long for now

Hey Sam,
I have not finished the Little Book of Pandemics yet, but I am getting close. I am not sure what I will read next, but I have a few ideas. I want to start to read more, but I need to finish up some stuff before I do. Sorry for using "but" so many times, but I can't help it.

Hey sam, i didn't know that my dad had a library thing in fact i'm almost positive he doens't! do you think that you could tell me the username so that i can check it out?
Today at woodworking class (it has been the best day yet) i was talking to Mr. Bertino about lloyd alaxander and he said that he was not a christian which is to bad i believe him because throughout all of his books he seemed to be searching for something to base his life upon but couldn't seem to find it. well anyway i'll see you on sunday.

Thanks, now I just need to copy Bethany's rating system.
sam isn't libaraything cool.
Hey sam, i forgot to get the book last night, think you could bring it on sunday?
Man I had a blast last night thanks for having us over!
Sam, I can't wait to be home! I miss you a lot. I'm so proud to see how mature you are getting and to see what a precious heart you have. I'm very glad that you are enjoying the books you've been reading! I feel like it's just such an exciting thing-- to be able to open up a book and really feel like you are experiencing an adventure. I always felt like I was part of the stories. When they were over I'd spend the next few days feeling a bit lonely because they were over. Then I'd find a new one as fast as I could so I could start on a whole new adventure. I feel so sad for people who don't like to read. You miss out on so much! Movies just aren't nearly as fun as a good book. ;) Love you sweetie!
Oh wow, you boys are fast. So I guess that means you've now passed me on my number of books. I'm gonna have to catch up this summer, haha! Sure do love you sweetie! I have an interview tomorrow to lead supplemental instruction for organic, so be praying for that please! And for my finals. Love you bro, see you really soon!! :)
Wow, no, I didn't know that. That's so sad. I'll be praying for him, too. I'm proud of your reading. The end was a little disappointing to me, too, but I did like that it had been the Chandallah the whole time and that he had done all of it so that Tamar could be free of his pride and find love. So in that sense the ending was good. And the gifts he gave them were sweet, too. Maybe once you meet your wife you'll understand better. The end always made Dad get choked up, and I think it's because he is so in love with Mom like Tamar was with the Gopi. Sure do miss you. Looks like you are about to pass me up on books, but maybe I'll catch back up this summer. Hey, maybe we could go sit in the grass at the park and read. I like being outside. Anyway, I love you!
Hey, Sam!

You have almost as many as books as me!
I only have 27 and you already are up to 26.
I'm proud of you!

Love,
Bethany
