En enero de 1997 ICANA recibió el acervo bibliográfico de la biblioteca del Centro Lincoln, antigua dependencia de la Embajada de los Estados Unidos. El 5 de mayo de ese año, la nueva Biblioteca Centro Lincoln abre sus puertas a la comunidad argentina como sección del instituto. La biblioteca refleja la filosofía de las bibliotecas públicas norteamericanas en la excelencia de sus servicios, en su infraestructura y entorno físico como en la incorporación de nuevas tecnologías. La BCL está abierta a la consulta independiente y gratuita del público.
